The company Interagrocom, one of the exhibitors at this year’s Organic & Natural exhibition, has grown agricultural products for more than 10 years, 5 of them — as an organic producer.
The company is located in the Chernivtsi region and has about 300 hectares of land certified in accordance with legislation equivalent to the EU organic legislation. The main products are apples, pears and plums.
Interagrocom carefully inspects and evaluates every product it sells, this allows the company to supply its products for further processing.
For example, SOOK LLC has its own processing facilities and is also certified according to organic production standards. The main result of such cooperation is the production of apple concentrate.
This product has high demand in foreign markets and, in terms of export value, it’s been among the top 10 organic products exported from Ukraine for several years.
In 2021, Interagrocom began cooperation with Odessa Baby Food Cannery, which performs processing for Vitmark-Ukraine at its facilities.
It will be recalled that Vitmark-Ukraine released new products under the Chudo-Chado brand this year: Organic apple-banana puree and Organic apple and black currant puree. This is the first organic baby food in Ukraine, made 100% from Ukrainian raw materials and at Ukrainian facilities. We also expect organic apple juice for children soon.
The Project implemented by the State Institution «Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office» and NGO «UNITE UKRAINE» with the support of Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Program «Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine» implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland), and the Enterprise Europe Network.
