Organic plant production
the organic production related to crop growing as well as harvesting of organic wild plant products in compliance with legal requirements in the sphere of organic production, circulation and labelling of organic products. Organic production standards
norms, regulations and procedures that define how must be produced and processed a particular product.
In organic agriculture there are:
– international standards – is, for example, EU standards approved by the relevant Regulations and having proper labelling;
– countries national standards, for example, the USA, Canada, Japan, etc., approved at the level of legislation of these countries with appropriate labelling; – private standards that can be adopted at the level of associations and operate in many countries, for example, the standards of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM); or
– private standards at the level of one country, such as Bio Suisse – replace the national standard and are mandatory in Switzerland; or Bioland or Naturland, which are additional standards in Germany and also have appropriate labeling for organic food.
Organic wild collection
Organic wild collection is organic production associated with collection and partial processing of natural wild vascular plants (including their parts and products of life), seaweeds and fungi at all stages of development for commercial purposes following the legal requirements in the field of organic production, circulation and labelling of organic products.
Collection of organic plant life (wild plants) must be carried out in compliance with environmental legislation, exclude the depletion of natural resources and prevent any environmental pollution.
Collecting flora listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine for profit is prohibited!
Parallel production
