From 10 to 13 February 2026, the international trade fair BIOFACH will take place in Nuremberg (Germany). BIOFACH is the world’s leading platform for producers, processors, traders, certification bodies, and all key stakeholders of the organic sector. In 2026, around 2,200 exhibitors are expected, located across nine exhibition halls of the NürnbergMesse exhibition center.
The main theme of BIOFACH 2026 is “Growing Tomorrow: Young Voices, Bold Visions.” The focus is on a new generation of farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and activists who are shaping the vision of sustainable agriculture and the future food system.
The exhibition will traditionally present a wide range of products and services, primarily oriented towards trade professionals, as well as spaces for communication and networking. Throughout BIOFACH, several dedicated areas will be operating, including:
- Within the Congress program, organic market analysis will traditionally be presented, along with numerous discussions on the future of the organic sector. The Congress offers an opportunity for professional exchange of information and views with experts from around the world.
- The BIOimSEH Meeting Point and the Organic Experts Lounge provide spaces for business discussions, exchange of experience in organic marketing, and communication with experts, suppliers, and business partners (registration required).
- The Innovation Pavilion (Hall 4A) is a space for presenting new developments, innovations, and startups. Visitors can vote for their favorite products, with the best receiving awards, while newcomers to the organic business can present their business development plans.
Detailed information on the events is available on the dedicated BIOFACH website. The full Congress program is also accessible via the talque platform and the mobile application.

The goal of this year’s exchange is to get a clear overview of the success and challenges, and to strengthen the long-term value-added partnerships that are needed to secure success and develop it further with a view to the future.
Despite everything, the Ukrainian organic sector is achieving impressive successes – such as the success story of berry marketing – both domestically and in terms of exports. Exports are currently being successfully expanded, and the processing and logistics infrastructure is being professionalised. At the same time, all this is taking place under the well-known extreme conditions. Reliable, long-term value-added partnerships are needed to secure success and develop it further with a view to the future. More information.
