The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine* has presented data on Ukraine’s organic sector for 2025.
Information on the number of organic operators and the area of land under organic agriculture is collected annually based on data provided byforeign certification bodies**, which
certified organic production and circulation of organic products in Ukraine. The data are analysed and consolidated by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to the data, in 2025 Ukraine had 473 organic operators, including 430 agricultural producers. Compared to 2024, the number of operators increased by almost 8.5%.
In 2025, the area of agricultural land under organic production also increased to 418,532 hectares. Of this, 411,497 hectares had organic status, while 7,035 hectares were under conversion. In 2024, the area of agricultural land under organic production amounted to 349,348 hectares.
