Only last summer Ukrainians tasted organic corn sticks, and now TM “Ecorod” has offered new flavors to consumers.
Corn sticks, if they are produced according to organic standards, are not unhealthy food as sometimes believed. The main ingredient of the product is organic corn flour and, depending on taste, other ingredients can be added: coconut flour, powdered sugar, sunflower or coconut oil. The recipe of the corn sticks had been carefully developed by the company for almost three years and it doesn’t contain any artificial flavors or palm oil.
New corn sticks with raspberry, strawberry and blueberry flavors are unique both by the recipe and the composition. During their production, sublimated berries are added. It’s the latest technology that is used for food processing, and before, it was used only in the space field.
Sublimation — is a process of extracting moisture out of just frozen products by using a vacuum. Such products can be stored for a long time without losing their properties and nutritional value, also they can be used further in many different ways. So don’t get surprised if your child’s fingers get colorful after eating the corn sticks with berry flavors because after natural berries it’s the same.
At the moment, there are seven types of corn sticks of TM «Ecorod»: corn, sunflower, olive, coconut, with flavors of raspberry, strawberry and blueberry. And the confirmed status of organic production and the Organic Standard certificate guarantees that the product meets all the requirements of organic production.
