On 24 May, the Lviv Taste Fair was held for the fourth time, bringing together 53 producers from 14 regions of Ukraine. Among the participants were 17 certified organic producers from 9 regions. The event attracted more than 6,000 visitors, including representatives of the HoReCa sector, retail businesses, and residents and guests of Lviv.
The fair featured new organic products. In particular, the Nuts’n’Garden farm from Kyiv region presented organic roasted hazelnut oil. The farm specialises in growing dessert hazelnuts and green asparagus using biodynamic approaches.
New products were also introduced by organic chocolate producer Kolchanov Dmytro PEI (Meetty Chocolate TM). In addition to its traditional organic chocolate line, the company presented chocolate-coated berries and fruits, as well as walnuts covered in chocolate.
This year, Food for Thought LLC from Poltava region also debuted at the fair. The company grows Ukrainian-bred walnuts and offers both shelled walnut kernels and organic walnut oil certified in accordance with Ukrainian and European organic legislation.
Among the debut participants was also Kurіnnyi Yevhеnіi IE (Yanko Tea TM) from Zakarpattia region, who presented herbal teas made from fireweed leaves (Ivan tea). The producer independently harvests and processes the raw materials using its own freezing technology to preserve the taste and properties of the plants. The product line includes classic Ivan tea as well as blends with citrus zest, cinnamon, pine needles and bergamot.
The organic sector at the fair was represented by producers from different regions of Ukraine, including frontline territories. In particular, producers from Sumy, Poltava and Mykolaiv regions participated in the event, continuing to develop organic production and supply the domestic market despite the challenges of war.
The fair also featured producers of organic dairy products, groceries, meat products, eggs, teas and wild-harvested products. Among the participants were Staryi Porytsk LLC, Shans Vik LLC (Travka TM), Galeks-Agro PE, Home Chicken FE (Organic Chicken TM), Organic Milk LLC, Organic Meat Product LLC (Organic Meat TM), Kurіnnyi Yevhеnіi IE (Yanko Tea TM), Molfar Eco LLC (Mol’far TM), Nuts’n’Garden FE, Organic Original LLC (Eсorod TM), Stodola LLC, Danube agrarian LLC, Food for Thought LLC, Kolchanov Dmytro PEI (Meetty Chocolate TM), Firma Diamant LTD LLC (Kozub Organic TM), Marchеnko Andrіi PEI (Svitovoch TM) and Lieberherr Christina PEI (Teas from Potutory TM).
