The National Pavilion of Ukraine at BioFach 2016

The fertile black soils of Ukraine are famous and provide perfect conditions for organic farming. At BioFach 2016 in Nuremberg (Germany), 10-13 February, we offer you an interesting opportunity of getting more acquainted with the rapidly growing organic sector of Ukraine and explore new business opportunities.

For the third time, after the successful presence at BioFach 2014 and BioFach 2015, where the Ukraine Country Pavilions sparked much general interest with its potential to meet much of the growing global demand for organic products, Ukraine will again have an own country pavilion at BioFach 2016.

The coordination of the Ukraine country pavilion was a joint effort of a consortium involving key Ukrainian organic stakeholders: Ques consultancy (www.ques.com.ua), Information Center “Green Dossier” (www.dossier.org.ua) and Organic Standard certification body (www.organicstandard.com.ua), supported by Swiss-Ukrainian Organic Market Development in Ukraine Project, funded by the Swiss Confederation through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and Project “Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood Programme (EaP GREEN)”, funded by the European Commission and implemented by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and other organisations.
In 2016 we also got State support from The State Enterprise National Research and Information Center for Monitoring International Commodity Markets (Derzhzovnishinform), leading research and expert center managed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.

11 Ukrainian companies will present Ukraine at BioFach 2016 and offer a range of organic products including: cereals, oil crops, pulses, sunflower seeds and oil, wild and cultivated berries, and profeesional services. This range of produce provides excellent pre-conditions for a further increase of organic production-up in Ukraine.
