The data about amount of organic operators certified in 2016-2024.
The data for 2016-2018 were collected for the Equivalent EU Organic Production & Processing Standard for Third Countries; The data for 2019-2024 – according to the standards that meet the requirements of the organic legislation of the EU and/or the USA (NOP).
The operational monitoring data were collected by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine (in the previous years also by the Ministry of the Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine) from the foreign certification bodies which certified organic production and circulation of organic products in Ukraine.
The infographics are based on the Organic Market Study of Ukraine held by Organic Standard certi cation body (Ukraine) in partnership with OrganicInfo.ua with the support of Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP) implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
