“The adoption of the organic law will give an impetus to the sustainable development of organic production in Ukraine, increase the competitiveness of organic products and expand the external markets for its sale. In addition, this law is important for harmonization of the national legislation with the European standards in the field of organic production “, – the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for European Integration Olga Trofimtseva commented on the decision of the Parliament.<\/p>\n

The law “On general principles and standards of organic production, circulation and labeling of organic products” has already been signed by the President of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

This law becomes operative in six months after its publication.<\/p>\n
