{"id":13870,"date":"2023-12-15T11:55:13","date_gmt":"2023-12-15T09:55:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/news\/gender-study-2023\/"},"modified":"2023-12-15T11:59:56","modified_gmt":"2023-12-15T09:59:56","slug":"gender-study-2023","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/en\/news\/gender-study-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Organic Initiative launches a study on the gender profile of the Ukrainian organic sector"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Under the auspices of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Organic Initiative is launching a study of the gender profile of the Ukrainian organic sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The aim of the study<\/strong> is to analyse the role of women in the organic sector of Ukraine, changes that are taking place, in particular, due to the full-scale war, and explore the challenges of the industry and possible ways to overcome them.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The study will result<\/strong> in conclusions and recommendations for the Ukrainian organic stakeholders that will allow improving the gender situation in the sector and help to create better conditions for women&#8217;s involvement in the organic sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The goals and objectives <\/strong>of the study are in line with the objectives of the State Strategy for Ensuring Equal Rights and Opportunities for Women and Men until 2030, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 12 August 2022. <em>&#8220;Ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men is recognised worldwide as the most important factor in achieving sustainable development, as well as a condition for building a legal and democratic state in which human rights and freedoms are guaranteed and ensured,&#8221; the strategy states.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey will be conducted in December 2023 and January 2024 using electronic questionnaires and telephone interviews. The partner in the implementation of this activity is <a href=\"https:\/\/mzhub.pro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">research agency MZ HUB<\/a>, which has extensive experience in conducting various studies, including those on gender issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>We invite organic market operators in Ukraine to participate in the study by completing a questionnaire or taking part in the interview by phone.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The questionnaire is available at the <a href=\"http:\/\/link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">link<\/a> and will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The telephone interview will be conducted by Iuliia Skalyga, the Organic Initiative&#8217;s representative in this activity (+380 981019305;
