{"id":12015,"date":"2022-06-02T11:00:30","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T08:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/news\/organic-support-1phase\/"},"modified":"2022-08-09T10:01:35","modified_gmt":"2022-08-09T07:01:35","slug":"organic-support-1phase","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/en\/news\/organic-support-1phase\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 70 organic operators to be supported in the frame of the Grant Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Over 70 organic operators will be supported in the frame of the Grant Program \u201cSupport of the Organic Sector of Ukraine\u201d initiated by the Organic Initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The applications to participate in the first phase were accepted from the end of April to 20 May 2022.&nbsp; The main aim of this phase is to support and maintain organic operators, i.e. organic producers, processors, input producers, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 100 applications from different regions of Ukraine were received during the first phase. When considering the applications, priority was given to micro-, small and medium enterprises whose areas are located in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Sumy regions which were occupied during the first months of invasion. The applications from all other regions of Ukraine were also considered.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Based on the results of the Grant Committee work, support of over 70 organic operators has been preliminarily approved (<a href=\"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/List-of-supported-applicants-1-phase-EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">download the list<\/a>). The amount of support will vary.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The detailed information about amount of support and other details will be sent to and agreed individually with every grantee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>More detailed information about the grant program <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/en\/projects\/organic-sector-support\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cSupport of the Organic Sector of Ukraine\u201d<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently,&nbsp;<strong>the Grant Program is financially supported by&nbsp;<\/strong>Switzerland within the framework of the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.organictrade4development.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Organic Trade 4 Development in Eastern Europe (OT4D) Program<\/a>&nbsp;implemented by&nbsp;IFOAM \u2013 Organics International in partnership with HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation and Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL);
